Villa Almarik is located in Gili Trawangan, a small beautiful island that can be easily reached after a 30-minute drive and a 15 minute boat ride from the Lombok International Airport or in 2 hours by a fast boat service.
In Gili Trawangan, guests have the choice of experiencing the serenity of a small island, the excitement of the underwater world and the energy of the island's nightlife. The calmness of the island, where motor vehicles are banned and horse-drawn carriages are the preferred method of transportation is contrasted by the adrenaline rush of diving with barracudas, mola-mola (sunfish), manta rays, sharks, and last but not least with hundreds of turtles. Each of Villa Almarik's twenty traditionally furnished deluxe cottages has an open-air terrace and a spacious bathroom with a private courtyard. Villa Almarik offers a variety of Mediterranean and Indonesian cuisine.

Diving &Snorkling :
Trawangan Dive is a purpose built PADI gold palm resort facility offering full retail equipment sales of quality diving and snorkeling gear. The PADI instructors train divers of all levels from beginners to divemasters, including Nitrox certifications.
The location is a short walk left from the Almarik Resort to Trawangan Dive.

The friendly crew of dive guides and captain are always ready to take you to our numerous dive sites and make your experiences as enjoyable as possible. All dives are guided by PADI dive masters and groups are purposefully kept small for more personal service. Your dive guide will attend to the washing and storing of your personal dive equipment and make ready for the next day's adventures.
The dive boats are of traditional outrigger style and equipped with O2, towels, drinking water and fruits plus a camera wash tub. Most of our dive sites are not far from the islands, all teaming with marine life and beautiful corals in depths ranging from 5 meters to 40 meters. Its very possible to make 2 or dives and still have plenty of time in your day for relaxing on the island's white sandy beaches.
All our dive sites are located 5 to 15 minutes boat ride from the dive centre. This means that if you want to go for a dive, you actually do spend more time in the water than on the boat. Trawangan Dive's boats leave from the beach directly in front of the dive centre and then return to the dive centre at the end of your dive. Its quick, its easy ands it's simple.
Around the three Gili Island (Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan), you will find more than 20 different dive sites and there are new reefs being explored all the time.
